Each of the three pieces on this all-Bach program is called Concerto, each was written for various combinations of instruments and each feachures a keyboard (piano) as a colo instrument. The Baroque period was the time of greater variety, freedom, and innovation in using musical forms than became customary in later years. It was the time for making the rules! This concept is well represented by the program on this disc entitled simply Concerto!
