Jeannie Wells Yablonsky, violin

American violinist Jeannie Wells Yablonsky studied with Dorothy DeLay and Jens Ellerman. Subsequently she earned her Master of Music Degree from Yale University, where she studied with the founding first violinist of the Tokyo Quartet, Mr. Koichiro Harada.

She has performed in many American festivals including Aspen, Norfolk, Interlochen, and as solo violinist of the New York Concertino Ensemble. She has appeared as soloist in many European countries, and has performed chamber music concerts with such musicians as Yuri Bashmet, Gerard Causse, Vladimir Afanasiev and Viktoria Postnikova. Ms. Yablonsky has held the position of Assistant Concertmaster in the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra in Spain, and the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra in Norway.
